Rob O. A couple of months ago, I had the opportunity to see front man saxophonist, Sam Greenfield bring the magic of Three Oranges to the stage which they blew a hole in. While I enjoy the recorded work, there was no comparison to seeing this band live. What a fantastic date night with my wife!

about

The debut record from Three Oranges features compositions by bandleader and saxophonist Sam Greenfield. Exploring a myriad of influences, Sam brings many style to the forefront throughout the album, gracefully connecting the dots between jazz fusion, progressive rock, R&B, electronic, and classical music. On "Dry Water," Sam is joined by an all-star Philadelphia band consisting of Tim Brey (keyboards), Josh Nussbaum (guitar), Brian Howell (bass), Gusten Rudolph (drums), Chris Stevens (trumpet), Nick Lombardelli (trombone), and John Swana (electric valve instrument). Together they create a unique sound that is easy to latch on to, and will surely have you going back for another listen.
